Pearl rubbing for decoration creates an exquisite mother-of-pearl shimmer on the nails, imitating the color of natural pearls. Due to its fine texture, the powder creates a dense shiny surface, and thanks to the color of the base, you can change the final color of the design.
Application technology:
0. Prepare the nail plate: perform a manicure, give the desired shape to the free edge of the nail. When using a remover, remove its remains with a damp cloth.
1. Degreasing: mechanically (using a buff) and chemically (using PREP&FINISH and a lint-free cloth) degrease the nail plate.
2. Dehydration: Apply a thin layer of NAIL FRESHER to the entire surface of the nail, for wet hands – the nail and side ridges. Allow to air dry until a whitish tint appears on the surface of the nail plate. Repeat several times if necessary.
3. Bonding*: Apply ULTRABOND to the entire nail with a semi-dry brush, leaving 1 mm from the cuticle and side ridges. Try to apply the product in 1-2 movements, holding the brush at an angle of 15 degrees to the plate to avoid excessive adhesion. Allow to air dry for 15 seconds.
* when using MULTI BASE this step can be skipped.
4. Base coat: apply base coat. Cure in UV lamp for 2-3 minutes, in LED lamp for 60 seconds.
5. Color: apply color or make a design. Cure in a UV lamp for 3-5 minutes, in a LED lamp - 60-90 seconds. Remove the sticky layer.
You can rub the powder directly into the color at this stage before applying the top coat.
6. Finish coat: fix the color with liquid cellular top coat without a sticky layer TOP NO WIPE. Polymerize in a UV lamp for 30 seconds, in an LED lamp - 15 seconds. Rub the powder into a hot or cold top. For better fixation of the rubbing, the ends can be sealed with ULTRABOND primer. Cover the finished design with a top coat, polymerize in a UV lamp for 3-5 minutes, in an LED lamp - 60-90 seconds.
PRO tip: for richer designs with rubbing, we recommend applying it to nails reinforced with hard materials.
