MINOX
MINOX is the first Ukrainian brand that helps grow hair in both men and women. The company entered the market in 2010. Thanks to its experience and numerous clinical trials, MINOX is the leading brand recommended by trichologists for hair restoration.
MINOX HISTORY
Like many great discoveries, minoxidil's ability to grow hair came about by accident. In the 1980s, when scientists discovered that minoxidil, which was being studied for other indications, actually showed signs of hair regrowth. This discovery was a key insight for the millions of Americans suffering from hereditary hair loss. Given this, scientists have begun to study the use of topical minoxidil solution on the scalp. Results soon emerged showing that topical minoxidil could indeed successfully regrow hair.
This began the development of innovative products leading to the creation of the first American minoxdil products providing hair regrowth benefits to both men and women with hereditary hair loss. Today, minoxidil remains the only topical hair restoration ingredient approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
In 2009, the founders of MINOX in Dnepr developed the first line of Ukrainian drugs based on minoxidil with a modern formula.
The assortment of the golden troika of hair growth lotions Minox 2, Minox 5, Minox 10 first appeared in Ukrainian pharmacies in 2010.
